Pepper markets continued to stay steady on Friday on very limited availability.
Whatever material available at present is being bought by leading exporters turned inter-State dealers at ₹700 a kg delivered at Walayar, market sources told BusinessLine.
There was neither any arrival nor any off take on the terminal market today, they said. Spot prices remained unchanged at ₹69,000 (ungarbled) and ₹72,000 (garbled) a quintal.
September, October and November contracts on the IPSTA also remained unchanged at ₹71,000, ₹70,000 and ₹67,000 a quintal.
Export prices were at $10,900 a tonne c&f for Europe and $11,150 for the US.
