NEW DELHI: Coriander and jeera prices fell by Rs 100 per quintal in the national capital today owing to subdued demand from retailers and stockists at higher levels amid sufficient stocks position.
Coriander prices fell by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 7,200-13,700 per quintal.
Jeera common and jeera best quality also declined by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 16,400-16,900 and Rs 18,600-19,100 per quintal.
Marketmen said subdued demand from retailers and stockists at higher levels against sufficient stocks, mainly pulled down coriander and jeera prices.

Ajwain (per kg) 175-240, black pepper (per kg) 720-850, betel-nut (kg) 260-330,cardamom brown-Jhundiwali (kg) 1,390-1,400 and cardamom brown-Kanchicut (kg) 1,450-1,675.
Cardamom small (kg): Chitridar 550-670, cardamom (colour robin) 550-560, cardamom bold 590-610, cardamom extra (bold) 690-700 and cloves 560-690.
