Coriander futures edged higher on NCDEX as speculators enlarged their positions amid pickup in demand at the spot market. Though, expectation of higher production as sowing in major producing belts is mostly completed and acreage is higher as compared to last year, capped some gains in coriander futures.
The contract for April delivery was trading at Rs 6329.00, up by 0.03% or Rs 2.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6327.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 10830.00 lots.
The contract for May delivery was trading at Rs 6434.00, up by 1.82% or Rs 115.00 from its previous closing of Rs 6319.00. The open interest of the contract stood at 3060.00 lots on NCDEX
